I don't think those are D4 wheels!
Tyre size should be 255-55-19 or 255-50-20 for the D4. D3 never had 20"s as an option, but they will fit.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I think they'll fit okay, but I'm not 100% as I've only messed about with D3/4 wheels.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Even if they don’t fit I’m pretty sure you’ll flog them on The Darker Side (D5.co.uk) for more than that.

Stats for the D3 are,
255/55/19 ET57 111H
Rim - 8Jx19 ET57
PDC - 5x120
Stats for D5 are,
255/60/19v 109V
Rim- 7.5Jx19 ET39
PDC - 5x120
So the smaller the ET number, the more the wheel will stick out.
With the J number, the D5 wheel width is 12.7mm smaller.
The load rating for the D5 tyres are lower than a D3.
You would also have to inform your insurance about the new wheels. They probably will not be happy, there’s too much of a difference, but if you’re involved in an accident ...
Personally, I’d sell them on, not use them, you shouldn’t loose anything, but they’ll only appeal to D5 users, which is why you probably picked them up so cheap.
Seen this happen with RR wheels being bought off eBay to put on Discos and in that instance the load rating was the problem more than the ET or J number. Again, if your involved in an accident......
There’s tons of wheels misadvertised on eBay. Also a lot of sellers seem to think the wheels for a Disco Sport means they’ll fit a big Disco or simply don’t know the difference, that’s a different kettle of fish and defo wrong.

No problem, I’ve been caught out myself a few years back, you’ve got to careful with wheels. First thing insurance assessors look at in an accident.

What have you got on the D5 at the moment Russell, 20” or 21”?
I used to collect sets of wheels, but after 5 lots I was told to get rid of them, so I tend not to buy anymore. Broke my heart tbh.
