I was about to say "not an uncommon problem with petrol powered cars" then saw the post by DG!
Damn. It is the only way I can persuade SWMBO that diesel is good.

Diesel, despite what our politicians say, is the only sustainable, clean and emitting engine ca. 30% less CO2.

Surprised nobody’s mentioned the possibility of stripping it...I mean that one wheel looks rather ok, doesn’t it?

D4 on fire...probably helped the owner upgrade to a better d5
D3 on fire, helped upgrade to the d4 that then helped the owner get a d5 (the d3 couldnt even get burning right, lol!)

Is it me or has the rear of the D5 gone up first? Was it something being towed that has gone up or an electrical issue?DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

V8 Defender's from the 90's had a fire possibility due to a fuel hose to close for comfort in the engine bay.

I sit in my vehicle in traffic every day and, when I do, all I think about are those glowing backends in front of me...

Of course you haven't ......it's all the other poor sods on the road that have to look & think about it, whilst you sit all smug in your "superior D5" completely in denial about your obnoxious rear end.
Enjoy.
Btw, for what reason do you still have a D4 in your avatar section when you don't appear to own one, or do you indeed still have one and it's that good you can't bear parting with it "just in case". ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Wondered when a heavyweight D5 owner would wade in, in support of his D5 "buddy".
Wasn't relating to the Owners Avatar pic, mr wobbly LR, I was relating to the "my Land Rover profile" pic in the one below

I'm sure the truth is that there isn't a D5 profile pic available and while some might have removed there old D4's others might not have felt it that impotent 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
