Do all D4s come with the removable tow bar stowage bracket? |
|
As the title says, really. My car was built with the tow electrics fitted and the removable bar and so has the bracket and foam insert, but when I change the car later this year, I don't want the electrics on the new one. However, I do want to be able to attach the removable tow bar in order to use my bike rack, which sits on the bar.
I wondered if all D4s come with the tow bar stowage bracket (left hand panel on the side of the boot) - does anyone know or could anyone without the tow bar check please?
If the metal bracket and pre-formed black styrene foam thing isnt't there I'll need to take it out of my current car before I change it.
Thanks. PAGODA

Do you not need the electrics for your rack - what sort do you use?

Good point most bike racks will obscure number plate & lights
Only use mine to plug the bike rack in Cheers Ian

Thanks, guys. Looks like I'll be getting the socket set out in a few weeks.
I use a buzz rack moose 4, which with the disco doesn't obscure the lights too much. He says. I should probably look at a light bar, but I so seldom use the rack...
