D4 XS on order

Placed our order yesterday for the XS in Rimini Red complete with all-round view cameras and trailer assist, sidestep and a few other bits and bobs.

Delivery down for January and dealer have guaranteed the pre VAT hike price.

Been driving a KIA Sorento for the last five years I just hope that the LR Disco4 is as reliable Wink

Congratulations !

It is now a long waiting period begining ...
The surround cameras are a good option for this
Model year because LR do not install front radar any more
on MY 2011 ...

Yes the Airstream 532 that is the Airstream Europe 2009 model - needs a tow ball weight of at least 110 kg and the van weighs in at 1700 kg - so not too many vehicles around that can legally tow it! The old Sorento is fine but the new one has been down-sized!

Just had call from dealer - our D4 will be with him next week then he wants three days for PDI and dealer fit options SO the new car will be on our drive before the end of January Very Happy Thumbs Up

Then first week of February a drive to Munich to visit my mother-in-law - it will be her 96th birthday - so the car will be well run in before we take off with caravan on the back!! Razz LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF
