Pete fitted the 'scratched' (like if you had a magnifying glass - this man is honest beyond reproach !) set on my D4 along with the other upgrades
good job all 'round
nb. the voice activation seems much better on the D4 than the D3Illegitimi Non Carborundum

Hi Pete,
This is an interesting option, but I have a few questions, and please excuse my ignorance!
A) What does the 4x4 info actually give you? I have noticed the area missing on the screen home page, but if I move the terrain response knob the screens that you show do come up?
B) The XS seem to have the strip of LED lights as per your second picture as standard but they don't work/light up - is that correct?
C) Where does it leave things with me warranty wise with the vehicle in general if I have these upgrades applied by you?
I didn't go for the headlamp upgrade at the time of purchase but after having a hire car with the cornering function I was surpised how much benefit it provided...
Thanks

Hi
A = It gives you the heights of the suspention, gear info and steering info.
The screen that i show with your option only comes up if you move the terrain knob when the key is on and the engine is not running after you switch off its gone again.
My solution is availble from the home page at the press of a button all the time so is more conveient.
B = The Halogen XS has the LED plastic strip ONLY, it does not have any LED's inside the light its self because its only cover to look like they are fitted so they are not available without a head light change.
C = Im fitting genune landrover lights so i would assume warranty is not affected just as it would not be if serviced with landrover parts by a 3rd party garage.
I have a customer whos dealer supplied the new lights as part of buying the car for him to fit his self.
I must however advise you to chq with your dealers personally for peice of mind for your self if you have concerns.
The cornering light is shown in the bottom picture and of course comes on for a short time while cornering when you indicate left or right under 30mph, this is different to fully Adaptive lights which you may have seen when you drove the hire car.

Your welcome livestronguk, im glad you are happy with the conversion.
sacimiddx, i told you the scratches were nothing of real concern i agree the voice activation does seem a lot better, that is when i can get it to understand my common Yorkshire voice lol.

Has anyone else tried watching this video and selecting the new "CC" option (Transcribe Captions BETA)?
It is very very funny to see how Google inteprets the LR voice

Hi there,
someone mentioned you fitted a 'heated wheel' - steering wheel I take it, was that for the D3?
What would the upgrade from Xenon D3 lights to these new D4 lights cost? And that heated wheel ont top if it is what I think it is...
