D4 windscreen weatherstrip
Hi folks,
Just had my 2010 MY D4’s windscreen replaces by National Windscreens.
Getting lots of new wind noise above 60mph. The seal and weatherstrip on the new screen look a little odd to me. No leaks (so far).
Any idea if this looks right:

Doesn't look right to me. The rubber weather strip should be flush

Doesn’t look good to me either.
There’s a windscreen thread below, I’ve saved the link at P7 as there’s a couple of pics with a close up of the top.
Probably worth a read through to hear of other members experiences with Autoglass.
Hope that’s of use. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

it costs peanuts to replace I suggest a dripp of supre glue in its slot when installing to make it stay there for ages
how i fixed mine when started banging on the roof line after getting loose

So grzesiul, you’re suggesting replacing the thick flat rubber strip which goes across the top of the screen in front of the wobbly thin piece which is attached to the glass?

the whole this on top of the windshiled is single part
part of it slides onto the glass itslef and back of it sort of seals the gap with roof line

Agree that it’s sitting too low (or the screen is too short).
Don’t do anything with it youself.
Get National Windscreen out to sort/replace it...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

I’ll head back over to Inverness to get them to sort it out. Appreciate all the helpful advice. 👍
