D4 windows opening automatically

Anyone got any ideas?

After locking and leaving the D$, I'm starting to come back to it to find all windows open. A pain when it's been overnight and rained, but worse when it's in a public car park.

There's no set of keys in it, which was my only diagnostic thought. It locks and unlocks fine.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the global open/close function is activating ...could be a module issue.

If it's not something stopping windows on their way up, then try doing a hard reset.

When you come back to the windows open is the car unlocked as well? in theory if its a global open issue thats activated by holding the unlock down. If the cars still locked then could be a problem elsewhere if that makes sense? If its unlocked are our fob buttons ok? as in not sticking down or light to press and getting activated in you pocket?

Global opening would open all the windows, but wouldn't the car lock automatically if a door wasn't opened within a few minutes? I think the global opening couldn't be ruled out on this basis.

Have you tried using the other key to see if it might be related?

Regards,
Steve

Just had another thought. Would a hard reset mean that global opening would be disabled until the one touch opening\closing was reset? If you could avoid resetting this for a while and the problem went away that would point to global opening, but not necessarily why.

I still think it might be fob related.

Regards,
Steve
