Thanks Wiggs! Your pics will be a big help in my Rear Seat Entertainment retrofit research! Although any more especially of the wiring loom would be great.
I too have the TV tuner, TMC & Bluetooth so I think our looms will be the same!
I have spoken to a very helpful service technician about extending the wiring and although I dont think they are supposed to help it appears that there are "service kits" for the ICE loom and joining plugs that can be separated and then extended! These kits have been produced for repairs to faulty cables or "rear ended" vehicles with wiring damage so as to avoid the need to replace the complete loom!
Will keep digging for further info!

On the subject of MPEG2 versus MPEG4, the UK will be translating to MPEG4 over the next few years as terrestrial High Definition becomes more popular. MPEG2 is too 'lossy' for hi-def. In a traditionally British move, I'm sure that we will have both MPEG2 and MPEG4 competing side by side for valuable bandwidth for many years (a bit like analogue and digital now...)
