| D4 Tow Bar Software Upgrade |
|
I have fitted the tow bar electrics kit to my D4 and am ready to upgrade the software using my IID Tool 
Can somebody confirm what I need please 
Options are:-
Tow bar
Trailer module
Trailer stability assist
Trailer towing ball
Also if I enable Canadian DTR option will that give me DTRs

Towing stuff is correct
DRL .. You get side and main lights on when in D, N, R G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I think that mine has:
Tow bar = fitted
Trailer module = 13 pin (this is where you define which type of towing electrics are fitted)
Trailer stability assist = undefined (don't you only get this with surround cameras fitted as well?)
Trailer towing ball = fitted

Can the gearbox thump when stopping (if thats the correct description) be upgraded via IIDTool, I'm sure I've read about an upgrade somewhere or was it just for the D3?
It was the Gearbox Reset/Recalibration  2018MY D5 Fuji White - Black Pack TD6 'HSE'

anybody 
Also... can you see the towing screen/features on the display without being connected to a trailer/caravan. i.e. just to see the features etc 2018MY D5 Fuji White - Black Pack TD6 'HSE'

Yes you can reset the gearbox .. Wether it will cure the thump will depend on what's causing it !!
What towing screen / featured are you expecting ??
Unless you have surround cameras then you won't see anything on the screen G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
