DW, thought that on day 1 of the press release. Exciting enough news then, when we had in total 6 threads ALL on the D4.

Would be waltermittys not satisfied with the D3, and trying to rectify the thing before its released.

BORING BORING BORING, and glad to know there are more of us of the same opinion, and tried to get them merged before the Home page was modified

So there's over 450000 posts on here and about 250 so far are about the D4 and you're bored of them already Confused
If that's the case life is going to get very dull on here for you as the site caters for both vehicles and the amount of D4 related posts in only going to increase Rolling Eyes

Speaking for myself here , I'll hold out on the " Will it fit..." "What if...".... " "I predict..." until it's on the road and I see some actual experiences and opinions from owners as I did before I bought the D3, rather than surmising & guesswork. But I'm sure LR are reading it all and taking it all in.

I think that Disco3 should stay Disco3 and Disco 4 as Disco4 not a confusing mash of both but maybe its cheaper to have an amalgamation ?
Anyway it isnt a democracy here and I'm not paying for the site so best of luck with it.

My opinion Wink

One issue I've found having multiple alias's to disco3 is when someone is logged in at disco4.com and then copies a URL and then pastes it into a forum post.

Someone (logged into disco3.co.uk) linking to it is then taken to the disco4.com URL (a mirror of disco3.co.uk) but is not logged in and thus unable to reply unless they log in again Thud

Can a global log in not be set up ?

I love D4 threads,in fact I think I love the D4.It brings me back to when I was looking for info on D3 in 2004 and remember looking on this site when it first started(took me months to build up the nerve to actually register)you should go and read some of the first threads on the site...brilliant.I ordered D3 in 2004 before it was on the road and thanks to this site and the likes I got enough info to decide on D3 without actually driving or seeing one in the flesh.

Anyway thanks Discowex for another D4 thread. Thumbs Up
