D4 Sounds like its missing

Hi long time no speak everyone. My dads just rung me on his way home from cleethorpes and informed me that the car isnt gd at all. his description is that its " like its on reduced performance but isnt displaying the error messege on the instruments and it feels like the engine keeps missing". He's currently crawling home and ive just rang LR assistance to come to out to our house now but does anyone have any ideas whats up?

We've had reduced performance ages ago but it went in and has been fine its also had the relevent upgrades from LR.

Check to see if there is any oil in the air filter. If so you need a new turbo shut off valve.
