To apply balance, I dont like the idea of D3 and D4 mix on same site
I have a D3 which I really really like, and searching new posts having to wade throught the D4 waffle is keech.
...but, I'm a visitor here and do not have any input other than thread replies, so I'll sit in the sidelines and join in when I read something I like. Like many i'll just get on with it. Some would call it progress.
Just my tuppence worth as cogitated by a man with quite a few beers in him now.

But jkp - the D3 and D4 are the SAME basic vehicle - so the same issues will apply to both.
I did think of creating a new DISCO4.COM/.CO.UK but thought that a lot of topics will apply to both the D3 and D4, and it is still a Discovery so will broadly appeal to the same people.
D4 forums are clearly marked as such, and should keep it easy to find D3 specific information
