In the book it says that you'll get a message indicating when a service is due. Anyone have any idea of the rough interval time/distance? I'm at 10500 miles now so I would expect it to be coming up shortly. The D4 brochure just talks about the new technology increasing the time between services.

I have 9000 on clock and just got the service warning up. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone

Mine has also come up with a service notice after 9,000 miles, but also after a year of ownership - so maybe the system counts time or miles whichever comes first?
Interestingly the dealer called me the day before the notice came up to ask if I wanted to book the car in! Paul

Mine came up last week saying "service due in 1800 miles" which would take it to about 16,200 miles. As others have found, the dealer phoned about two days before!

Mine was serviced two weeks ago, a bit overdue at 18k, started telling me service was due at 15,500. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

Paid £330 based upon collection and delivery. Excellent service from Guy Salmon Wakefield.
Had to hand over both keys as some electronic upgrades done (not sure what  )

We got our D4 from GS Wakefield too, paid £1100 up front for the first 4 services which I thought was a good deal.

Guys just confirm with your dealers, there was a couple of changes, I got my D4 and was told every 6 months or 13000km's, thats the latest for a 11MY so check and make sure what applies to your car to avoid warranty issues. White MY2011 SDV6 HSE
