D4 Reverse Camera Location
Hi
I currently have a d3 that i have just fitted a reverse camera to.
As the camera fits in the rear door handle i still dont get a view of the tow bar position when reversing.
my question is where does the reverse camera on a d4 mount and can you see the tow hitch?
thanks

it mounts in the door handle - you can only just see the tow bar though. you should be able to see the bumper (just about)Duncan

The view on my RVC gets the back edge of the back bumper very clearly so I would imagine that it would show the tow bar and connections very clearly. It's a factory fitted version

yes it does ...
I have a d4 one here with the camera cut out if your interested ..sorry no camera though
if you are going to get the proper D4 camera make sure you dont get the one from the surround camera system ( digital ) as it wont work without the module , wiring and enablingG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I don't have the surround system, just the rear view camera, so could that be the difference?Discovery 4 2.7 SE

I also have the reversing camera only (MY10) option and it has exactly the same fish eye view as madjax. Bit weird but you can see almost the whole bumper and the towball head so it's actually very useful. Also very good quality day and night and adjusts well to changing ambient light conditions.
