D4 rear brake pads and discs cost. |
|
Hi all..
Can UK guys and NZ and OZ give me a guide on the cost of replacing rear pads and discs on 2013 D4?
Sorry may be thick but is it reasonable for rear discs to be f... After 65000km?

I did my pads and rotors many years ago with all genuine parts but sorry I cant recall the cost. But my advice would be to go with Akebono pads. They're great and main driver for me was low dust for fronts. I think they're the ceramic ones and I got them from Rock Auto - a USA online seller. pretty reasonable from memory.
The brake pedal is marginally firmer but dust is near zero now both fronts and rears AND the rotor wear also seems reduced too. The Akebono literature claims reduced rotor wear as well so seems to be validated from my experience.
I hope this helps and maybe others can chip in as well with their experiences.

I had the rears changed last month.
Parts were supplied by TLO and cost (inc vat and inc the forum discount)
rear discs £99.89 PAIR
rear pads £77.02
And with regards the mileage - mine has done less than yours
