Oh I thought it was just the matter of selecting 'With retractable mirrors' rather than the current setting of 'Retractable mirrors and integrated logic'?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

I'm fairly sure that Robbie is right. I was playing with these settings with the IID tool to see what effect changing them had. The retractable setting still allows you to fold them manually, the integrated logic setting adds folding on locking.

OK, I'll get hold of Bodsy, unless there's anybody closer to me with a faultmate or IDT tool that can do it
Cheers Chaps

I got the non Bluetooth for £318 delivered about two months ago. Not sure on the protocols for recommending non site sponsors publically so pm me if you want to know where from. I really like the IID tool - yes it's limited in terms of what CCF changes it can do at the moment, but it can do most of the stuff most people want most of the time. I used it to do timed and remote climate for example and 4x4 info.

Nice to know...
I also wanted my mirrors to fold only when I instruct them.
The manual says the auto-folding of the mirrors is a function that can be ACTIVATED by the dealer. So if it can be activated, and it was activated on my car, I deducted it could also be dis-activated . So I requested my dealer.
My dealer said there is no way to stop the mirrors from auto-folding.
He pretended they even consulted the factory to double-check this....
Why do they think they can fool customers? Some people get by
With a little understanding
Some people get by
With a whole lot more
I dont know
Why you gotta be so undemanding

The auto fold on locking function came as standard on my D4 HSE MY12 and it definitely can be deactivated.
Mine stopped working after a hard reset by a respected LR dealer who was investigating something else. I am pretty sure that the hard reset was the cause and because I noticed it immediately the dealer spent 5 mins and changed the setting back in the config file somewhere.
It surprised me that there wasn't an option to change this in the normal user vehicle setup menus
I'm afraid, however, that I didn't test if the manual folding of both mirrors still worked while the auto fold on locking was disabled
