D4 onto RRS Supercharged chassis? |
|
My googlefu is failing me
With Supercharged RRS prices coming down to sensible levels and plenty of D4s with snapped cranks, has anyone merged the two?
There was a TDV8 one with a D3, but it the article in LRO skated over any difficulties. 2003 Discovery 2 V8 GS

What are you trying to achieve? Grafting a D4 body onto RRS chassis and running gear or installing the SCV8 into a D4?

ILS automotive can swap the engine over.
They are currently building up a D3 with the 4.2 supercharged engine as we speak. In loving memory of FA54WSK.
Zambezi silver D3 HSE.
Gone but never forgotten.

still probably cheaper to buy one from Japan if you want a V8 - no lurking rust to worry about either 05 D3 V8 HSE, LR Passion tree bars, wildbear compressor guard, LRP switch panel, ARB rear locker + compressor, Trigger 6 shooter electrical system
12 RRS SDV6 HSE (Hers) - Gone and replaced with an I Pace - I can tell you now EV is not the future yet
