D4 not starting - P0087

2012 D4 SDV6 suddenly stopped and cannot start again. Its cranking but not starting. Connecting simple BT reader shows P0087 error which seems to be a fuel pressure related.

Luckily its happened near home so I wasn't stranded on a roadside but I need to figure out if it needs recovery to the indie garage we use or can I do anything myself to diagnose and start it.

Any recommendations as to what to check first? As I said I have basic BT code reader so can take some readings from the car if needed.

Low fuel pressure code you mite be lucky and its just the fuel pump belt that's let go.

Update, AA came out, checked it over and added 5 liters of diesel in and it started. Turns out fuel gauge is broken.... There was still 50miles and 1/8th on the gauge remaining....

Happy days you have x2 fuel pumps 1 in the tank 1 on the rear of the engine the belt is often neglected at service time.
