Hi all,torn between 2 motors
D4 10 plate 144k.belts have been changed and it has a full Land Rover service history.
D3 56 plate 80k.not 100% on the service history as yet.
Love the look and feel of the d4 but would the mileage put you off
D3 is £1000 cheaper .
Cheers

The D4 mileage wouldn’t put me off as it may have been mainly motorway miles, however it would come down to the service history on both (receipts/invoices not stamps) and how they both drive.
The thing that might sway you re the D4 is that is a more refined and the newer model.
Also check the oil pump has been replaced on the D3 as it may fall into the VIN range which experienced some failures.2007 D3 TDV6 XS - GONE
BAS Remap
EGRs blanked
Adaptive bi-xenons
RLD spare wheel protector

Went for the d4
As above had the d4 out the 2.had the car 24hrs,driving home from the fishing the car suddenly started making a horrible engine noise, within seconds the car lost all power so I pulled into the side of the road.was a tad scared to switch on again so I opened the oil cap to see smoke coming out the cap.£120 to get it taken back to the garage last night & awaiting the dreaded call.surely I can give the car back within a certain number of days as it’s not fit for purpose???any help would be much appreciated guys 👍👍👍👍👍

Thats terrible news, and yes Im pretty sure you are safe to reurrn as not fit for purpose.
See what they say be careful what you say and if not totally happy with their response seek legal advice, again dont tell them you are doing this.
I assume it had oil and water in it when you took it away?
