Hi Neil,
I'm pretty sure that some of us (incl me) would be very interested in participating, however can you please clarify if we may buy LHD vehicles and export from UK through this group buy? Any idea what the discount could be?
Thanks
PS You also have a PM...

Well guys, I was too anxious to wait so I did sign up and keep fingers crossed that Neil will have some positive answers for LR friends from south Europe. 8)
More questions pop up in my mind though:
1) If we proceed to the group buy, when should we get our beauties delivered? I heard that first deliveries will be September, so why should we wait till end of year or 2010?
2) Is there some official price/spec catalogue so that we may determine our final price?
3) Are there any financial plans available (for non-UK citizents as well please)?

I could be interested depending upon timing and the deal.
My D3 is due for change by May 2010 so not in a hurry.

All cars ordered would be ordered independantly via the chosen Dealer.
Cars will not be delivered in one batch, it will be when production slots are free, leaving you ro choose soon, sooner or soonest!. No deadline for how long this is.
We have a % off pre VAT prices.
Most people have now been PM'd - Its probably time for people to add themselves to a proper list now.

I guess this is the time/week that we 'prospective buyers' would have to make up our minds and proceed to final decisions. I am anxiously waiting for Neil's answers to our queries and hope that with his help and positive attitude we will all meet somewhere in the UK, sooner or later, to get our D4's delivered, see them, compare, discuss about them and have lots of fun with/in them.
I'm not sure if I will be able to get it muddy since day 1 but it will be nice to meet some of the forum members anyway.
So Neil....

Not sure your actual location, your profile doesn't give any clues
Just curious why you would want to buy from UK. Is it because you feel that the delivery will be sooner than elsewhere in Europe? It cannot possibly be because of price, surely UK is one of the most expensive places to buy from.
If you want a LHD there are much better deals to be had here in Middle East, Dubai is much cheaper than UK, or better still from USA?
Just curious.

Hi dubai,
Just corrected my profile so that you all know where I come from (although the name should give me away).
Buying from Dubai is not a good option for me as you realize.
I suppose that Germany is quite cheap, but having compared the prices for the D4 the difference is not that big than in the UK, for a similarly spec'ed vehicle, however I'll check again. In addition to that deliveries are indeed faster and last BUT NOT LEAST, having lived in the UK for more than four years, I really like the professional way that English people do business. They usually mean what they say, so if they say delivery October 2009, it will be so!
These and even more reasons (not the right time or place to elaborate on), plus the discount that Neil will achieve for us are a big allurement for buying in the UK.
PS I urge people to check through the prices throughout Europe and elsewhere, I believe UK is not that expensive.

Hi everyone,
I can see the registered prospective buyers increasing - which is good for our group buy. Is there something more robust than that, ie anyone who's made up his mind for sure, talked to our Group Buy Leader (NeilD), ready to order?
...or are you all on vacation you lucky @@ ?

Hi
left hand drive is possible. However there will be a small charge for ording this version. It will be based on a Belgium spec car.
I am awaiting the surcharge price and also written specs.
