Got some debris behing the main front grille which I can't get at through it so thought I would remove the grille.
In handbook it states:
Press down on four upper clips ~ no problem.
Lift the grille clear.......
Mine seems to be secured pretty well at the bottom some how and don't want to force it and risk breakage.
Anyone removed theirs?
After releasing the four top clips does it pull upwards or outwards to remove and does it take a fair amount of force?

There are 2 more clips, 1 either side in the middle section of the grille.Squeeze and pull grill forward first, then press down 4 upper clips, should come out then.

Thanks Tom.
Are these other two at the bottom of the grille and if so how are they accessed?

On the D4 the are in the bottom corners - you need to pull firmly forward to release them, but made sure you pull on "both" of the grill sections i.e. the outer colour-coded section and the the silver section, if you pull just on the silver one, you'll end up with that detached from the other and it's moulded together not clipped so not straight forward to repair - although it can be done

Well, have made sure that the top 4 clips are free and have tried pulling up with a fair old force but it does not seem to want to budge and I can feel the while grille flexing.
What sort of fixing is at the bottom? 2015 D4 HSE in Corris Grey

Same as on the top.
You push down and pull on the top 4.
You push up and pull on the bottom 2. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

RONP is on about D3 not D4 clips - the D4 lower one just need to be pulled.
They are basically a short-tab of plastic with a bulge at the end, which clips into a metal receiver in on the car, you have to pull to get the bulge to unclip. I had difficulty doing mine the first time too - then found one of the receiver clips and been mangled and so need to replace it - now works fine.

I then stand to be corrected Mr H.
Naturally thought they'd be the same.

Missed the forward as I had got in my mind that the handbook says Lift which I assumed meant upwards.
Yes, pulled the bottom forwards or outwards as opposed to upwards and out it came.
