D4 FBH 2010
Hi all not long got my Disco 4 I want to fit a remote start for FBH I’ve seen things on utube but the wiring of it is a bit vague mine has the red wire fitted but when I test the red wire it has a 12v feed already do I cut this and fit remote to it or splice it in I have a remote but due to the 12v live at the red wire I’m confused any help would be great

The red wire is more to do with 2005 models I believe.
What do the instructions say?
maybe you need to insert a new terminal (available from the site shop)

On your D4, use the connector that already exists in the car, half way along the boot panel right hand side. Bodsys Brake Bible

thanks for your help ill stick it back on ebay as a disco 3 controller
what do you recommend to use for remote ill need to find someone with an IID in the Tayside area to do the programing

I believe he is the UK dealer for Altox. I think you want the WBUS-5 with either GPS or not, depending on your budget / requirements.
Or obviously keep an eye on the for sale section on here as they occasionally come up.
