d4 commercial

its 5 years since I bought a D4 commercial which was 2 years old at the time.
Now Im looking for a similar replacement and a 2 year old D5 commercial is around double the price I paid for the D4.
looks like its going to be a ranger or a navara next

I have just come back to discovery from Navara after 8yrs,4 navs . Pleased I did ,the newer Navaras turned into a nightmare!
The problem with pricing is LR know people in business are buying them due to their huge tax advantages over standard cars . I managed to get a very late Disco 4 for 5k less than a commercial with double the mileage luckily our business structure doesnt really cause any disadvantage from a tax point of view.

I'm in the same pickle. My D4 commercial is a 65 plate with 31k on the clock, absolutely mint. I've seen a D5 which I like but price to change is over £26k. Stick or shift?

Same as my conundrum last year Laughing I chose the D5 as it’s only money Big Cry
One day you’ll change and it will still cost as much if not more so go for it whilst you can Thumbs Up

I’ve got to say, I’ve been blown away with its performance in the snow this past week. I was a bit dubious with its 22” wheels and road tyres but it’s not got stuck once. I’ve rescued lots from the lanes around me in deep drifts through to sheet ice covered roads. Mercedes Sprinter, Nissan Navarra, to name a couple which were well and truly stuck.
My daughter now has my old D4 which is still going strong.
