Anyone know if there is a plan to introduce this engine to the D4 perchance? T'would be jolly nice......I would definately buy one!

I believe the engine block is too big for D4 and RRS.

Does beg teh question as to whether or not the 3.6 TDV8 might remain for the D4 and RRS though ?? Now that does fit.

Yeah, more hope than likelihood I know Sad

Damn shame really. That engine is the single reason I went for the FFRR instead of a D4. I don't need 7 seats but I do miss the big boot very much. It's absolutely crying out for the TDV8 to be an option at least. Maybe not standard but deffo an option.

Its is also a question of seperation of models - Ia am sure the 4.4L is a development of the 3.6 and would probably fit if they tried. Probably an option on model runout (to sweeten the options at EOL). Big Cry
