D4 - 20 inch V-Spoke – from new RR VOGUE

I was wandering, if 20 inch V-Spoke Alloy Wheels – ‘Style 9’ - LR008766 – from new RR Vogue will be OK to my nev D4 HSE. I can buy it in very good price (about 1300 EUR for all complet – used for 5000 km).

Now I have in my new 2,7 D4, HSE – original 10 spoke Style 2 - 18 inch with universal Goodyear Wrangler HP-AW - M+S (255/60 AT/V) - and want to have 20 inch for summer, and 18 for winter.

Tyres in those LR008766 are Continental Conti Cross UHP 255/50 R20 109V AT-S

What do You think?

2 things to check are the load rating of the tyres and the brake caliper clearance on the wheels.

Make sure the RR tyres are also 109 load rating (RRS's use lower rated tyres as the vehicle weight with 5 seats is less than a D4 with 7 seats).

I believe the D4 with the 2.7 engine still has the older / smaller brake callipers so you should be ok there. But the 3.0 engine models have bigger brakes and that may cause problems with RR wheels.

I fitted 19" RR wheels and tyres to our D3 with no problem. But they wouldn't fit my RRS which had larger Brembo brakes or the D4

This worked :

But this didn't :

I too love the look of the new style 9 vogue wheel and would love them on my D3, the same question was asked on the full fat range rover site and someone mentioned that you may need spacers to avoid rubbing issue as the ET offset was different.
I'm only repeating what was said on the other site but it wasn't clarified whether the spacers were needed or not, so it maybe worth trying before you buy.

Let us know how you get on Thumbs Up
