My 2012 XS is coming up for it's first service and have been reminded by supplying dealer. On contacting them they quoted £483 
Needless to say felt obliged to do a bit of ringing round to see what others were offering.
I live in Essex but travel up to Ipswich quite a bit so any location near/between the two would be ok.
Results so far:-
Dealer 2 - £470
Dealer 3 - £439
LR Independent Specialist - £301
LR Service Centre 1 - £375
LR Service Centre 2 - £335
Last one is Dunton Land Rover at Basildon. Has anyone used them and were you happy. They seem to be on the ball and can do while you wait with tea/coffee and wifi so whiling away a couple of hours shouldn't be a problem. If you want to wait a bit longer they wash as well!

There are "A" services and "B" services, I was quoted £350 and £500 respectively for these by TP Topping Landrover in Enniskillen (main franchised dealer).
I believe the first service should only be an A service? So sounds like you are being fleeced
