I ordered my HSE last July and took delivery in October. Vat is 19.6%, however if you get a letter from your employer saying you need a car for work (ie due to your working hours public transport is not suitable, they give you 10% off!!!!). The French HSE is basically the UK SE model. You could always buy a LHD in the UK. I looked into.
When I bought my Defender last year, I had to buy a RHD as I cannot fit into the LHD. I spoke to LR export (based in London) and they told me they could build me a French Spec RHD defender. OR Failing that, buy a LHD in the UK and send the paperwork to the French LR headquarters with a cheque for 100 euros and they will send you all the paperwork you need to get a French Plate. For my Defender I bought a RHD UK spec, I keep it on UK plates as I still have a house in the UK and I found an insurance company in France that iwill insure UK RHD cars on UK plates!!!!!!

Even if I lived back in the UK I would definitely try and insure my car with a French company. Strangely AXA UK wanted (with unlimited European cover) about £2000 a year (I have no noclaims in the UK). AXA France who I am with gladly accepted a letter from my Swiss Insurance company, AXA UK refused this letter (I moved recently) stating that I have no claims for the past 12 years. AXA france, ALL EUROPE cover (standard in europe) with 5000miles a year MAX, a massive £300!!!!!! Need I say more

What our "English Challenged friend" is trying to ask is the Land Rover Towing hook part number. He would like to know if that towing hook is available WITHOUT the electric plug.

Please, help him out as I really don't know if that is available... Wink Georgia On My Mind...

Je crois comprendre ce que tu veux dire... Merci cher ami.
On dirait qu'il ne la connaisse pas cette référence.
Je fais monter le faisceau dans 15 jours pour le crochet si je n'en trouve pas je prendrais celui de The Fred Forty Five et j'oublierais de lui rendre.
