D3s don't like earthquakes..
Zagreb, Croatia. A friend sent me these. There have been a few earthquakes and one of our own has fallen.
I live in Croatia half the year and there are very few land rovers. Parts have to be imported and very few places can work on them, especially outside of Zagreb, home to the only dealership in the country. It's hard owning one there; only an enthusiast would.

One more picture of the same. Yes parts needs to be imported if you need dedicated parts, but service parts are available in our country.
And there are places where you can service LRs and Rovers outside Zagreb. I have few of these myself.
Where are you staying in Croatia?

We are in Zadar. We have a D2 that lives down there. Yeh service parts are fine, as you say, dedicated parts are harder to find but postage is quick from Germany, Serbia and UK so we just make sure we haven't forgotten anything.
If it's ok with you, if we have any problems in the future, I'll give you a message.

No problem. My mechanic servicing my Rovers and LR is in Solin, near Split. This is 150 km from Zadar. Hour and 15 min by highway.
Until now I did not have any problems finding any part I need for my 25 and 23 years old Rovers and 12 years old LR. I find parts all over EU, only "problem" is you might not find them in a hurry, so sometimes it needs some time to find them and get them.
If you come to Split give me call/message it would be nice to have a beer or two ?

Plans are on hold now, apparently there's some virus going about. Spent half the summer in Konoba bar (near Hemingway) last year while working in the marina. Great little bar. Will give you a message next time I'm in town

Looks like a write off to me It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
