D3/D4 Landmark Spare?
Can anyone tell me if any D3 or D4 used to come standard with an alloy spare? In particular the Landmark (probably HSE or HSE Lux maybe?)

for that money i would have thought so,,,never seen a space saver on a LR...but think they do exist

Ha, very true. My old D3 was an S with some extras but had a space saver

D4 with Ad Blue (2016MY) had a full sized alloy spare so Landmark should have one.

MY 66 Plate Landmark has a full size alloy wheel.

My D4 HSE came with a space saver from the factory, its still under there, completely unused.
Ive bought an matching alloy to swap it out with.
My Dads 65 HSE lux (non ad blue) one also had a space saver from factory2013 Baltic Blue D4 - a balance between family car and camping machine - trying to not bladder it with stuff I dont need!
2008 FLR2 - bit travelled and surprisingly good - exchanged for above
1967 S2a SWB - the old girl - current, original and much loved
1998 - Td5 overlander - much travelled and very much missed
1996 - 300Tdi 110 overlander - much travelled and much missed
1998 - FLR 1 td4 - my first Civvy Land Rover!

Cool, thanks for that all. So my 2012 HSE has a space saver too but I might also buy an alloy spare.

All of my vehicles (2005 D3 SE, 2009 D4 HSE and 2016 D4 Landmark) have all come with full sized matching alloys as spares.
D4 HSE in some years came with a penny saver, my MY12 had a full size option fitted. The Landmark came with a full size, of which I have four that was on it that I’m looking to move on.

My 54 plate SE D3 and 65 plate (2016MY Adblue) HSE D4 both had full size spares. I suspect full size over the 12 years was probably more the norm than space saver?Corris Grey SDV6 D4 2015 HSE

My D3 HSE came with a space saver …got rid of it quick.
The D4 HSE came with a full size and matching alloy to the summer wheels.
My 2007 D3 HSE had a full size spare as does my 2016 Landmark

I had two D4 Landmarks both came with a full size spare, mounted face downwards to fit over the AdBlu tank.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

Not sure when supplying a space saver started on on later D4s, but they started at the time I bought mine -mid 2015. When I ordered (April 2015) I was asked if I wanted a standard spare as a payable extra, but it was supplied with one as standard by the time it arrived.Gary
