Lamps will be dispatched on Monday on 48hr delivery. They normally only take 24hrs but may take longer this time of year so expect them Tuesday or Wednesday The End
10 minutes should be all it takes Keith, get yer winter woolies on and get out there
Still 2 sets available if anyone's interested, very doubtful if I'll be able to get any more once they've gone and even if I can the price will more than likely go up again because of the limited supplyThe End

Just wondering it says ealier in the thread that xenons are a straight swap as long as it's not a coil spung disco, what's different on a coil spung model?
ISTR it's to do with the self-levelling that is a requirement for Xenons, on a air-sprung D3 the whole vehicle self levels so this is catered for. As this doesn't happen on coil sprung you need a manual adjustment which is only good for HalogensThe End

They are a straight swap RMG 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
I fitted the new Xenons today - 30 min job! The most difficult bit was lifting-up the headlamp retaining clips.
My D3 is the Limited Edition GS and was fitted with standard headlamps. These Xenons are a straight swap!
Just 5 or 6 flickers before the Xenons stabilise - What an improvement and they look great.
Thanks for your help Slimer.

After trying various tools etc to lift the retaining tabs i have finally settled on using a Pry Bar.
A hand pry bar fits nicely under the retaining tab and the angle on the bar gives you the required pressure to lift the tabs without braking or damaging anything else.
