2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Alveston Red

D3 water hose help needed!

Can anyone help identify this hose for me please? Goes from ‘t’ at top front of engine to to mid left looking from front, ‘L’ shaped with heat covering on exhaust side.

Thank you! I think i've found the part number, (4r8q-9y438-bf) but everywhere shows complete assembly with sensor, at silly money. Will check with my local garage to see if i can get it individually'

It’s part of this one, isn’t it? The 9Y438 matches http://new.lrcat.com/#!/12128/41216/42091/3252/42105 .. a genuine, LR006638, is like 90 GBP or so.

The one I pasted was for vehicles with VIN AA... so, D4 2.7 liter V6 actually, I think as A = 2010

Thanks to all for the information. As usual, it’s a complete assembly, and I only need the section shown ( pipe clip broke and hose was rubbing on fan belt). I have some steel pipe with the same inside diameter, so I’m just going to cut off the offending leg and replace that bit. There was me thinking it would be about £10 for that piece of hose!

Ok, so I cured it for a few pence! I had some aluminium tube which was a tight fit inside the hose. Cut a piece longer than the damaged area and clamped the ends with jubilee clips. Works a treat and has the added advantage of sitting a lot firmer in the retaining clip above fan belt. Beats £90 or so on a whole new assembly.
