D3 Spare Wheel Winch Nut Plug/Bung
Hi Folks,
I'm having a little dilemma with mice getting in my truck! After originally finding the shredded remnants of a packet of crisps I had in my glovebox, I thought id cleaned up and the problem had gone (ie. no more leaving munchies in the wagon!) However, I've just gone into the back and lifted the rear seats to find a whole load of other mess!!
I was getting into the rear to access my spare wheel. I notice that the nut of the winch is fully exposed in my D3. I didn't know if thats just how they were? But after having a look around on google/youtube, it appears theres meant to be a seal and cap closing it in.

So my question to the board is, does anyone know where I can track down one of these caps from? Or what the proper name is for this! I believe this is where the rodents may be entering as you can see daylight from that nut housing.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for sharing the part number, from a quick google that appears to be just the badger! I will get in touch with Dan though as I need the cap and the under grommet bit too and not sure whether they'd come separately?

If I understand you correctly that part number is for the bit that stays around the hole and the opening part if you see what I mean.
