Hi all, well its been a while since visiting the site.
It's time to make a decision on the replacement of my beloved RRS 5.0L S/C, having bought my first LR in 2005 starting with a MY06 D3 and moving onto a MY10 RSS S/C it time to consider a D4.
The RRS drove away this morning to it's new home having sold it in less than 24hrs for great money.
Now I need your help with a decision,I'm planning on having both a D4 and a VW Amarok by the end of next year, the question is which one first.
To make things worse, the dealer has found me a MY13 TDV6 D4 landing in Oz next week with the following spec -
Factory options – 7 leather seats, Tech Pak, Hi line audio system, Bi-Xenon lights & E-diff
Dealer fitted accessories – tow hitch & electrics, carpet mats, daytime running lamps, loadspace mat, tint.
As I'm a little out of touch and running out of time to decide, I'm hoping you guys will give me some feedback..
Thanks in advance....... D4 TDV6 MY13' - 2 weeks away!
RRS S/C MY10' - muchly loved and just gone

Without doubt the D4 first, so that you have something to pull the Amorak out of any mud deeper than a puddle.

Not a great deal of mud to worry about in Adelaide.
And without knowing how you use your vehicles, I'd say go the D4, especially if you can screw them a bit on price.

Funnily enough the rain has arrived, a bit late this year, but we've had 80mm so far for May.
OK, D4 will be my company car, tow car (2500kg caravan or motorbike trailer), general everyday bus!
Plan is to give the D4 to the wife in 18 mths and grad an Amarok for myself giving us plenty of options with towing and general carrying of stuff. D4 TDV6 MY13' - 2 weeks away!

I could not think of a better pair of vehicles.
When you give your wife the D4 that will be the last time you will ever drive it without going on bended knee with outrageous promises Fuji White D4 2012. Reversing camera, E-diff, Hi-line sound, Xenon lights, ARB bullbar with Lightforce xenon lights and cargo barrier

Is that an SE optioned up? You're lucky you can get one so quickly especially with e-diff. Had to wait some 4 months for mine.

Nope not a SE, it's a TDV6 which is the base model but with some nice options making a great car and hence my dilemma in making a choice. E-diff and Xenon's make it a great D4 for me....can't wait to get it dirty!
But, decision made, ordered the D4 Friday arvo, Amarok will be next year! D4 TDV6 MY13' - 2 weeks away!

Now to work on the accessories, planning on a big UK purchase of all sorts of bits which will me save heaps, then will take advantage of cheap freight to Italy and will then ship from my Italian factory in our regular containers, hence more savings.
So who has the best choice, stock and price in the UK?
So far found I've LR Centre - lrparts.net
Input from you guys in the UK would be great. D4 TDV6 MY13' - 2 weeks away!
