2nd new key fob just turned up. Took about 4wks to arrive. Again very impressed with quality and for £3.30 it's an absolute steal.
Cut open the old case and swapped over the innards in about 20mins. Now have a two shiny keys!2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Oh and forgot to mention there's a tiny screw in the packaging which is used to lock the new key shut. Clip it together and insert the screw and there's no danger of it coming apart. No need to glue.
Don't throw the screw away as I did with the first one 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Another +1 for RRUK. No fuss, just a faultless new fob built around the innards of your old knackered one.
