I understand what your saying about the look. I do think the D3 looks more robust and ready for anything. But let's face it mine does the school run 3 times a week. It's never going to get used for what God intended
I have some wings and bumper arriving in a week or so ( hopefully ) the problem is someone has bought my D3 lights and are being collected Monday. So I'm just looking for a quick fix so the car can still be used. I'm a bit worried now that I should have just left it alone. I had a D4 bumper ( was told a D4 turns out a late D3 ) repaired and re sprayed and put on. Now I'm scared to brush past it, I'm guessing the same will happen with the front when it comes. I recon the plastic parts had a purpose!Mods:

Morning. Today's the day! If any D4 owners are up and about I could do with two more little abuts of info. I didn't realise till last night that one of the measurements was at the wrong bit. I think I didn't explain very clearly.
I need the distance of the tiny bit at the front of the arch where it comes down to the bumper. It a tiny bit between the arch and light lens.
The other thing is if your looking at the wing square on, the vertical cut just behind the lens, is in dead straight or does it curve backwards towards the top near the bonnet. I don't mean with the bonnet up. It's just because the d3 light is straight and the d4 one has a curve

One more question, on the back of the D4 grille there are 4 tabs at the top to hold it in place. But there also two right near the bottom at each side. My D3 one had the 4 at the top and two about half way down towards the sides. Has your grill got the two half way down or at the bottom. ?Mods:
