| D3 not starting and self locking the doors |

Hi I hope some one can help
I opened the d3 this morning with the key fob and it worked fine put the key in the ignition tyrned it and the car locked itself and put the alarm on set so the car wouldn’t start . ???? Unlocked the car turned the key again and the same thing happened . Left the car for a few hours the wife tried it and it started and worked fine..
Came to the d3 this morning and it started fine then the radio the heaters went off the hazards started flashing so I turned off the car and straight away the doors locked and alarm set not letting me start the d3 again
And a few load clicks from under the bonnet like a relay
Has anyone got any ideas as I’m baffled
Seams to be when the car is froze up

Sounds like you’ve got water ingress in something. Could be the fuse box/cjb behind the glovebox, it gets wet from failed sunroof drains. Could be the big plugs on the ecu’s that live behind the battery in the engine bay. They get wet from water collecting around them or jet washing the engine.

Repaired the sunroof leak over 8 months ago should be fully dried out I would have thought il have a look at the one under the bonnet is it easy to find

I experienced the self locking doors a year ago while on vacation, but no radio/heater issues.
Car just kept locking itself after a few minutes. One time I was sleeping inside the car when the doors autolocked, so the alarm went off when I opened the door from the inside. Not funny at night on camping ground 
I suspected the spare key with low battery so I swapt the spare with the regular one to charge it while driving and the problem disappeared.
Didn‘t test engine back then. _,,,_______///________
