Edit,

Gordon we seem to be cross posting, however scientific consensus IS very much divided on the issue, if you carry out a proper literature review, you might notice this. (Have you actually read some of the sources you give, I doubt it, on the other hand, I have, along with many other sources.)

The evidence would to many scientists suggest that mankinds contribution to CO2 is insignificant.

It is the suns changes in solar activity and its effect on cosmic ray flux, which changes CO2 levels which have varied from less than 300ppm to 7000ppm.

Minor fluctions in the suns awesum power changes the climate on earth, not insignificant contributions to CO2 levels by mankind. The notion that a 50 or even 500ppm increase in CO2 will cause a tipping effect has no basis in evidence given the history of the earths CO2 levels.

http://www.clearlight.com/~mhieb/WVFossils...imate.html

When the suns solar activity lowers again then CO2 levels will drop, if it increases they will rise. This powerful star right beside us is THE contributing factor and the small contributions man makes are insignificant.

When (if the cycle continues) the sun emits less radiation, again we are heading for another ice age. Levels of CO2 on earth has NO influence on what the sun does!

I should add that my current interest is the study of 'Solar Activity and Earth's Climate and the possible influence on Earth's CLOUD cover'. Recently it was found that the Earth's cloud cover, observed by satellites, is strongly correlated with galactic cosmic ray flux (GCR). Clouds play an important role in the Earths radiation budget. Thus any significant solar influence on global cloud properties can potentially be very important for Earths climate.

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Quote:
"The Barrett 50 cal Sniper Rifle may have been the most useful piece of equipment for the urban fight – especially for our light fighters. The XM107 was used to engage both vehicular and personnel targets out to 1400 meters. Soldiers not only appreciated the range and accuracy but also the target effect. Leaders and scouts viewed the effect of the 50 cal round as a combat multiplier due to the psychological impact on other combatants that viewed the destruction of the target.

“My spotter positively identified a target at 1400 meters carrying an RPG on a water tower. I engaged the target. The top half of the torso fell forward out of the tower and the lower portion remained in the tower.” 325th PIR Sniper

"There were other personal anecdotes of one round destroying two targets and another of the target “disintegrating.”

right, let's see the to$$ers putting fake parking tickets on me D3 now 8) Laughing Laughing
