After the recent hoo-haa surrounding the Lake District, I've actually spent a bit of time trawling other forums and each of them has a dedicated greenlane section. Discussion about access and greenlaning per se doesn't fit into the "events" category and equally seems ill at ease in off-topic.
So Martin, any chance we could have a greenlane section where details of local closures, VROs, TROs and troublesome landowners could be posted and discussed? I appreciate the D3 database idea needs some more work, but if we can at least discuss access and accountability in a sensible forum area we have a better chance of working with other greenlaners rather than finding ourselves on the wrong end of the big stick. It will allow those who view other forums and may have local knowledge of problems to post and update known problems but I would suggest NOBODY posts all-clears, only possible problems to keep an eye on when laning. That way there is no liability on D3 if someone here posts a "it's good to go" and someone ends up prosecuted because of out of date or incorrect info.
FWIW, the Mud-Club and DiffLock threads have come around to understand the Disco3 viewpoint and acknowledge it was an unfortunate incident stemming from lack of signs and a disjointed national access policy. It's been noted on those forums that the alleged closure of the lane doesn't appear on Wayfinder or LDNPA but is on Wayfinder project
Anyone care to explain the difference between Wayfinder and Wayfinder Project? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Top idea ND, I have just found out about a stack of new closures in the Yorkshire Dales, all my favourite lanes have had 5 year TRO's slapped on them
Will post details once the section is up and running.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

What about the Peoples' Laning Organisation? (PLO)
I get the idea. Nothing like a little bit of divide and conquer. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Is it worth it Chaps. They are going to close the all lanes in the next few years. Has anything positive ever happened with all the campaigning thats been done In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
