D3/4 Body shell in Forres
Saw a bodyshell for a D3 or a D4 being trailered into an industrial park at Forres this afternoon.
Too far away to spot if it had a sticker. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Just checked out the window and it's not mine.
Was it Buck Blue? Could have been Dark Bluie after it shed a bit of wait and swam over from Norway.

Only when I don't look at the pics and see bits I could have taken off (and didn't) and flogged.

Gows used to be better than they are now. Trouble is they don't have any competition. That said, their Dream Rings are worth a shot if you've not tried them.

Any port in a storm. In England, at least in the NE you can't get chewy, good, morning rolls like I grew up with (oops grammar). They're all soft and like what as a boy we called cream cookies without the cream. They sell 'scotch baps' down our way but they're nothing like a morning roll. There's nothing like a morning roll. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Yep, they are fabled for their Dream Rings. They even do a large Birthday one.
If you are ever in Tain, Grants Bakery across from Gows, do an amazing Pizza Slice, but you have to get there before the kids lunch break at the local Academy.

Might have a run up to Tain next time. Some years ago I shopped at Macleod's of Tain when he had his stall at the Highland Game Fair at Moy. Been through Tain a lot as we used to take the caravan up to Brora and more recently up to Thurso.2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone.
