My first d3. Had plenty of other Land rover over the years.
Happy with it so far.

Nice motor and doesn't look its age, hope you enjoy it Thumbs Up Just an observation though, which might be nothing other me, but the suspension looks a bit high! Particularly the N/S/F wheel?

Its probably just me Rolling Eyes

Hi. Thanks for the comments. Yes it's on off road mode or in the process of it atleast. I had just pulled it of the drive after changing the front air shock. I've replaced both front sunroof drains, both front hubs, track rod ends and brake sensor wires. Things to do are the sills as it had side steps and when I removed them I found a few holes, the bushes and the boot switch. I've made a roof rack for it. I will take a pic at some point and put it on. It's only a quickly made one as I plan to make a better full length one.

Little taste of things to come. I've still got a few bits to get and painting to do. When it's all ready the plan is to get it all done in a weekend.

Hi and it looks really nice, how do you find the Duratracs for everyday use if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Andy. The Duratracs are good. they give me about 28 mpg average but i don't travel miles at a time so don't mind, there really grippy off road down muddy lanes and grassy fields and don't make as much noise as I thought they might. But I do drive my 1970 88 so not really much of a comparison. hope that helps.

p.s I found tyres on the drive to be good on price and service. Thanks

Hi dave
I wiil do a full build thread when I've got all the bits. The rear end is simple bolt on job after painting the bumper. The front end is a little more work as it's either replace the wings with d4 or cut the d3 wings and only have one vent and change the bumper. Also I'm going to just paint the d3 arches with the bottom edges masked of till I come across some d4 ones at the right price.
