D1 to D4
Well, I've just bought a 2010 Disco 4 from Fords of Winsford. Picking it up friday apparently. I originally went there to look at a different one, but spotted paint bubbling on the bottom lip of the upper tailgate, so decided to give that one a miss.
It's a GS with 37k on it, and Its my first Diesel Disco, all my others being V8's. This was as much through lack of choice than anything else. Having said that I'm keeping my 1998 50th Anniversary D1, currently off road due to body rot (new crossmember, drivers footwell, sills and rear wheelarch but not the boot floor, which is sound, oddly). Gonna take the opportunity to overhaul the motor while I'm at it.
Anyway, back to the D4: I want to put a roofrack on it for my rooftent. Any suggestions?
