Cubby Fridge - No power at switch / No light??

Hi

Tried to turn on the cubby fridge today and it didn’t show any signs of life.

The light that normally comes on at the switch when turned to on position doesn’t appear to be working....

I’ve checked F59 (10amp) behind the glovebox and that is fine, not broken and checked for continuity with multimeter....all checks out ok.

Been reading that it’s more than likely a failed circuit board?

Or could be the relay on the fridge unit itself?

Where can I get this fuse from?

Will need to remove the unit and do a few more checks.

Also need to check for power at the wiring harness where it connects.

If there is anymore advice as to why the light isn’t coming on at the switch I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

You've done all the right things - as you say, you need to whip it out and check if you've got 12V at the fridge with a meter. Fairly easy to access and get out. Mine stopped for two weeks in the summer and then started again! Neutral

Thanks for the reply.

Will get the unit out and have a check.

If no power and fuse ok what could that mean? Wiring?

Why would it work intermittently like yours has?

I may have to give mine a bit of gentle persuasion!

Most likely the fridge itself if the wiring is undisturbed. I'm sure there was a thread on here a while back about fridge repair/fault investigation on the actual unit.

Thanks for the reply.

I had a good search on the forum and can only find the peltier replacement.

There isn’t anything that I can find that details repairing the fridge unit itself....

Not sure if it’s a circuit board issues or has something actually stopped working in the fridge itself?

Currently I have nothing. No cooling. No light at the switch. Can’t hear the fan running?

Will get the unit out tomorrow and have a play.

But if anyone knows of a decent guide to repairing the unit I am all ears!
