Ok fault code was P1247-Boost Pressure Control-low pressure..
AA said possible Turbo (solenoid ?) issue.I notice a few others on here have that that,along with the "Restricted Performance" warning on the screen (which I didn't get)
It's possible I did such a short journey that it didn't get to that point.Whatever it was,he cleared the fault once he was happy,and we went for a test drive with no repeat of the issue.
I'll keep an eye on it,but I'm going to make sure the Ctek keeps the battery topped up from now on.

Not sure I would be happy with that diagnosis. Why would a P1247 bring on the glow plug light?

I had the glow plug light staying on after a CCF edit. Was due to a fault code being logged, which would make sense with your issue.
Went out after clearing the codes, and all was well.
Looks like you may be about to have the "Restricted Performance" message shortly. Easy to repair, even easier if it happens under warranty My D3 Build Thread
