Cruise side horn button issue

Hi guys, Just a quick question about my cruise control horn button.

Basically, I was coming up to a roundabout about a month ago and some pillock cut in front of me. I went to press my horn and realised it didn't work on the cruise switch side. This is a brand new switch, fitted as an upgrade and activated by Geoff. So I know activation was done properly...

Anyhow, I figured it must be a faulty switch, so sent it back to Brad@YeovilParts for a replacement... A bit of to-ing and fro-ing, but eventually got a replacement back and just fitted it.

Horn doesn't work - Again!

Any thoughts on what this might be? The old switch without cruise horn works fine. Im baffled. It can't possibly be 2 faulty switches can it?

Question Exclamation Idea

My next move is going to be to swap the board from the cruise one with the board from the non cruise to see if the horn works then.

What am I missing????

Yeah I thought that too Robbie and swapped it out. Tried 3 looms now and none seem to be any different...

The swap of boards should prove something I'm sure

Update:

I worked with Brad on this and we figured out that when fitting new cruise buttons, you need to also replace the opposite (menu and phone switches) with its pair.

When I fitted the new opposite side, the horn started working again..

So, always swap out in pairs Thumbs Up

Go figure... Whistle
