i am not talking abut the grilles that can be adjusted ... I am talking about the ones that are next to the ignition key.

so what are my other options here in Greece, for enabling the codes ? i was thinking of the official dealer. do you think I should try to an aftermarket shop that cooperates with the official dealer ?

That's the interior cabin temperature sensor, used by the climate control to know how hot it is inside the D3 Thumbs Up

JP - forget about the main dealers or independant workshops that use LR dealers for their diagnostics etc - they are never going to be able to enable the cruise for you.

Just a clarification of what simoniz said.... Whistle

Once cruise is enabled it normally lights up on the dash when in use - a few have found it does not but the cruise works anyway.

- On early D3s nothing will work until it is activated via a suitable tool (Faultmate/Autologic) *. Once activated, both the cruise control and the lamp on the dash will work.

- On later D3s (>=MY07 ?) they sometimes work straight away (without activation) but the indicator lamp on the dash does not come on. Once enabled, the lamp will also work.

As yours is a 2005 D3, I don't think you're going to be able to get it working at all unless you can get it activated.

* As far as I know, there are no other options for enabling it besides these two.
