Crossroads!
I have owned the Disco for a year now, and loved every minute of it. That is apart from the almost constant anxiety of when something is going to go wrong next..
It's a 2007 SE, with 101k miles.
Serviced last month as well as having a fresh MOT on it (no advisories) Just put new discs and pads on it all round, new alternator, two x new bearings and track rod ends.
I drove it back from having the above done with a huge grin on my face. HOWEVER:
It now has the engine management light on and a lack of power until around 2,000 RPM, the boot also now doesn't open!
The bonus is it has a one years warranty left on it I bought from the garage, which seems to cover almost everything which could go wrong. So everything is fixable.
Do I replace with a boring Subaru Outback which will provide me hassle free motoring or see it through and keep hold of it?!

You answered your own question.... If the warranty covers everything, I don't see why you would get rid?
Get it fixed under warranty and enjoy many me years of motoring.

EML may be your EGR valves?
Boot catch also a known fault
Doesn't sound terminal - especially with a warranty

With the exception of your 2 current issues everything you have mentioned is just routine maintenance, it's a 3 ton complex 4x4
