Crank Case breather pipe

Having great fun trying to remove the pipe from the rear of the crank case breather. The clips is the squeeze to bits to together type and there is absolutely no room in that area. I was hoping the pipe would be long enough to reach the clip once the breather was actually in the engine bay but the pipe isnt long enough. Sad

I could resort to a junior hacksaw and fit a new clip later but don't want to damage the pipe.

Anyone any tips on how to get this clip off.?

Thanks
Dave

If it's the hose clamp I think you're referring to there is a special tool for releasing them, but usually something like a water pump pliers can often do the job.

The tool looks like this which allows for remote operation but there are other versions.
