"crabbing" Problem

Hi Guys
a few months ago i replaced the rear upper and lower suspension bushes and bolts etc, making sure to measure and tighten them as per schedule, the front were ok so were left alone

once done i had a full four wheel alignment done by an accident repair centre friend of my brother
the paperwork suggests they are all within tolerance now

however when reversing on a full lock the fronts feel like they are "crabbing" if that's the right word, sort of skipping a bit as you move,
if you run your hands around the tread anti clockwise it feels like rubbing fish scales backwards, smooth one way but rough and pronounced tread the other
is this usual
where should i go from here , any suggestions

Cheers

Andy

Check for fault codes. Reset steering angle sensor is a possible fix.

Your transfer box may need recalibrating!

Maybe get a new "four wheel alignment' with a four wheel drive place.

What are your tyre tread depths like? They need to be within a couple of millimeters or it will activate the traction control

Try swapping front and rear tyres over and see if that helps

I've seen it twice on two seperate vehicles, once on a Range Rover with a siezed up vicous coupling which effectively had it in diff lock permanently and onece where they tyres carcass's were knackered

If it is scrabbling or winding up when turning tightly then as said above you will need to re-calibrate the Transfer box.
