| A couple of questions regarding LEDs |
|
1. has anyone found suitable LEDs to go in the vanity mirror lights? (and do they add value ... just wondering if they make SWMBOs moan they can't apply make-up if light is too "harsh")
2. Door indicators repeaters. I have a spare pair of the plain cover ones having installed some smoked ones I bought off a forum member. I can't decide if they would look good if I remove the lens and paint the back bit black to match the door, then fit a suitably brighter orange LED. Anyone tried this ?

Just to bring the topic up to date..
My 2014 model D4 yellow OEM vanity mirror bulbs replaced with these without issue.

SWMBO said the light was brighter and better for mirror usage....high praise indeed.
