Hi all, D4 due in for a service, 48000 miles what kind of costs can I expect from my dealer ? ( Morrisons of Stirling )
What price did you end up paying, and who with?
Just been quoted £520 (that's with 10% off) for 4th year service + £27.43 half-price MOT from Pentlands Edinburgh.
My local Taggarts Motherwell have always beat everyone in the past, but they've quoted £641 for service + £54 for MOT, and not a hint of a discount .
Morrison's Stirling quoted £585.50 + £54.85 - but said they would price match.
Park's Ayr quoted £595 + £54.85.

Want to hear a good one. Buy a new BMW One series and a 5 year service plan is .............£375 total for the five services
1st year VED - Nil, second and subsequent, varies from Nil to £30 a year, band A to C and the diesel gets 69mpg.
I have a 120d sport MY14 costs the price of the fuel to run for 3 year plus the payments that's it.

Paid Taggarts a visit instead of talking to the Service Desk on the phone and managed to get a £111 discount off their original price

Having seen this thread I am so glad I took the 5 year/50,000 mile service plan for £699 when I ordered the Discovery.

I've just been quoted £620 for my third 48k service (d4 only 19 months old) from Hunters Chester; any suggestions on either an independent or other more amenable local LR dealer?

Hi
i use Autodiagnostic in Rosyth, they are about half the cost of a main dealer, used these guys for years, and helps that the Owner (Mike) and Manager (Alan) are long time friends. Great service and would recomened to anyone in that area.

My 4th service(4 years/64k miles) has just been done at a main dealer on time before mileage (60k miles but 12 months since the last service even though not 4 years old yet - my mileage isn't linear with time) and cost north of £800 including brake fluid change and rear pads....
